The story of Dragons Blood goes like this; set in a mythical world of dragons, elves and all things magical, you have the choice of two characters to play. A bold warrior with a big sword, who possesses a limited amount of spell-casting abilities or a magician with weaker strength, but a greater power in the casting spell department.

Brought into recover the mess after the elves--who of course were supposed to be guarding a scared amulet but let it fall into the wrong hands--this game involves you battling across 15 rather large levels to get the thing back.

As you would come to expect, both characters grow in strength over the course of the 15 levels, with the warrior becoming the ultimate brutish man, whilst the foxy lady magician concentrates on learning the 20 or so spells to rid the world of any baddies.

To its credit, this game does what is does well, with the puzzles concentrating on the navigation rather than the usual move one block, run to the other side of the map, move another and then the door in the far left hand corner will open.

The monsters are fairly useful as well, having not only AI (artificial intelligence) but also something called AP (Artificial Personality) meaning that each creature behaves differently when faced with certain situations.
