White Day is a fear-inducing survival horror game that is seen, for the first time ever in this genre, entirely from a first-person perspective. It plays out like a movie. The player becomes a lovesick teenager who enters the local school late at night to return his dream girls diary, which she lost earlier in the day, and to leave a token of affection; White Day candy.

Players are introduced to two of the central characters, who talk about ghost stories, in one of the schools many haunted corridors. It wont be long before the first problem of turning off the schools alarm system becomes a priority. During this challenge, the game takes a very dark turn, as you meet the warden, a man with a baseball bat, and hear the sound of the young and decidedly creepy childrens laughter.

There are no guns in White Day, but plenty of ingenious puzzles litter the way: the player disables alarm systems, opens combination lockers, and rescues trapped schoolchildren from strange apparitions. The difficulty setting helps the player get into the story while providing a harder challenge at every turn.
