The Evil Within is a survival horror game developed by Shinji Mikami himself - the father of Resident Evil and Dino Crisis.



The player takes on the role of a detective named Sebastian, who, together with two partners, sets off to a mysterious town to investigate a crime scene located in a psychiatric institution. After reaching the destination, the protagonists find brutally massacred bodies. During the investigation, the protagonist is attacked and loses consciousness. After waking up, he watches the death of his companion and begins the fight for life.



As befits a survival horror game, the locations we visit are dark and claustrophobic, and the environment can change in the least expected moment. Additionally, our resources are very limited, so we will often have to use the option of stealth and distraction.



The Evil Within was created based on the modified id Tech 5 engine, thanks to which the graphics look phenomenal.
