After huge success on the Nintendo DS, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars arrives on the PlayStation Portable, with all the gameplay elements that made the touchscreen version such a joy, complete with some improved graphics and added missions to boot!

Fusing the gameplay elements from the classic top-down GTA games with the expansive world and humourous stories from the 3D titles, Chinatown Wars puts you in control of Hwang Lee - a spoiled Triad member whose father was mysteriously assassinated. Hwangs story begins in Liberty City, as hes about to deliver a family heirloom to his power-crazy uncle, but at the airport he is ambushed...

Cue absurd missions involving drag racing, drug dealing and turf warring, with the interactive minigames allowing you to hotwire cars and deal drugs with fellow gangsters on the street. A quick timed event allows you to stay focused on the action using traditional controls - twirl the analogue nub on your PSP to turn the key in a car door, for example.

The unique PSP controls help keep this version of Chinatown Wars different to the Nintendo DS version, and if you prefer shinier graphics and new missions with your playthrough it is worth checking this version out.
