Grafiken i "Civilization: Revolution" påminner mycket om den i "Civilization IV", om än lite "gulligare". Spelet har en mera tecknad stil, jämfört med syskonserien.
Ljud:
Musiken är mycket skaplig, och bidrar till spelet positivt. Ljuden, liksom grafiken är lite åt den roligare sidan. Soldaterna grymtar och muttrar på ett humoristiskt sätt, och det kan mer än en gång bidra till ett leende.
Kontroll:
Kontrollen är simpel, men mycket lättförståelig. Du använder kontrollen till att bläddra mellan dina enheter och städer, samt bekräfta eller ångra dina val.
Story/Berättande:
Story har ingen som helst plats i det här spelet. Det går snarare ut på så sätt att du göra din egen tolkning av världshistorien. Vad sägs om att du, som Japan, bygger pyramiderna och utvecklar de första atombomberna redan på 1800-talet? Det är helt upp till dig.

"Civilization: Revolution" är inte olikt de andra spelen i serien. Det här är, helt enkelt, i princip samma spel som mästerverken som har funnits till PC sedan länge. Detta är ett roligt och intressant bidrag till din spelsamling, särskilt om du inte har spelat något inslag i serien innan.
