This entry in Natsumes long-running series once again takes players to a tropical island, this time asking them to save the day by recovering Sun Stones and raising the Sunshine Island chain that sank during a powerful earthquake. True to the series pastoral roots, the fabric of success is ultimately woven not through direct missions, but through hours of courtship and husbandry. As gamers expand their farm, tend to their livestock, befriend wild animals, and take on mini-games to hone their skills in cooking, fishing, and mining, they will run into, and perhaps marry, many familiar characters from Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness.
