Its been five years since your mysterious disappearance from the skate scene, and much has happened during your absence. After a natural disaster, large parts of San Velona are completely destroyed and now the company Mongocorp has been commissioned to rebuild the city.

However, it turns out that the companys, to say the least, rigorous control over private property is not something that benefits the citys skateboarders. Your mission is to speed up your career and revive the skateboarding scene in San Velona.

To help you get the job done, you now have twice as many tricks available as well as the ability to step off the board and move objects and create ultimate lines. You also have your own gang that helps you take care of certain business and assignments. In Skate 2 you have to win back the city - street by street, block by block.
