FIFA 07 on Xbox 360 is built on the new EA SPORTS game engine and will be the starting shot for the next generation of football games.
Game-hungry fans will have the chance to test the new engine and new game system before the game is released when a demo is posted on the Xbox Live Marketplace in October.
FIFA 07 on Xbox 360 moves away from the traditional technology with predefined animations and instead uses the completely newly developed engine to give players authentic movements. The players movement patterns are based on new properties and twice as many attributes as before, which means that no player will move in the same way. Instead, they come to life and will move just as we are used to seeing football players do on the pitch.
In FIFA 07 on Xbox 360, the artificial intelligence of the players is greatly improved and they have also got a brand new ball to play with. For the first time ever, the ball has its own physics, which results in it coming alive with a more real and unpredictable game on the field as a result. Now all types of workouts and shots are possible and your goals will feel natural and unique.
The increased amount of statistics gives you the opportunity to make strategic and tactical decisions as you lead your team towards success. Keep track of how your players are performing and let the solid amount of data determine whether a player should be trusted to play the entire match or whether he should be replaced with a pair of nimble legs. You can now study statistics on how a player moves during the match and what he contributes and where on the pitch most of the events take place and thus adjust your formation in detail.
